Our legendary sourdough has been a part of Beckmann’s for over 35 years! Our bakery is located just blocks from the Monterey Bay, which has allowed our original sourdough starter to gain the characteristics and microbes of the coastal California climate. We pride ourselves in our process, 12 hours of fermentation time results in unapparelled, unmatched flavor. We bake in the true Golden State tradition with simple ingredients, wild yeast and lots of time!
